Wonderful Hand Painted Limoges Bowl by Haviland

Here is an amazing piece of Haviland Limoges china! This piece has the H&C mark which dates to 1888-1896. The artwork is wonderful on this dish. Purple flowers and leaves are featured and they fade off into an area with beautiful gold scrolling. The centers of the flowers have moriage details. The bowl is square with a scalloped edge and a soft pink interior.

The condition of this piece is great. No chips, cracks, or crazing have been observed. The artwork is in great shape too. There are some light marks on the underside that appear to be partial finger prints of the artist as the color matches the paints used. There is a small black dot on the inside that is from the manufacturing process.

Please note that the lighting makes the bowl look more yellow than it is in a couple of pics.
