Syracuse China Plate with Hand painted Landscape by H. G. Aitkin

Syracuse China Collectors here is a plate for you. This plate features a colorful hand painted landscape by H.G. Aitken on an Old Ivory plate. H.G. Aitken (1867-1952) worked as the head of the decorating department for Onondaga Pottery Company which became Syracuse China. This plate is signed but not dated so it is not clear if it was made as part of the company production or if it was painted post production privately. The landscape features trees at the water's edge. It is a very pleasing piece.

This plate is a cabinet size at approximately 6.5 inches in diameter.

The plate is in beautiful condition. The art shows limited to no wear and the porcelain does not show any damage.
