Beautiful R&S Handpainted Bowl with Flowers

Here is a beautiful bowl made by R&S in Prussia in the early 1900s. This beautiful dogwood design is accented with gold and has an Art Nouveau feel. The piece is a quality that you just don't see today. It was carefully hand painted on the finest bone china. The colors of greens and gold are classic and neutral. This piece would be gorgeous on display and neutral enough to mix with other fine china.

The bowl is approximately 10 inches from handle to handle. It is in great shape and does not show its age. The gold details are sharp and clear as is the floral design. No chips, cracks, or crazing were observed. There are a couple of small marks that look as though they are from the manufacturing process. There are small gold lines behind the handle (matches the paint on the front) and a small dot in the porcelain.
